Psions are those people who are able to cast spell-like powers with only their minds.

Attitudes against psionsEdit

Psions are extremely rare in most of the lands in Polaqu. They are mostly considered myths or tall tales and therefore, when one appears in an nonpsionic area, he or she is feared, respected, ostracized or lynched depending on the area. Most psions conceal their identity entirely, although some pose as wizards, sorcerers or monks. Even going so far to carry around large heavy books of blank pages or befriending a small raven.

Becoming a psionEdit

The most powerful psions are born psionic, although most begin to manifest their abilities during puberty. Very few people become 'gifted' afer accomplishing adulthood, and when this does happen there is usually something that has been quenching their power thus far.
